Equipment have extensive experience in the field of reconditioning process of
the trucks. Their step-by-step process and quality maintaining procedure helps
potential buyers take their decisions easily.
I 80 Equipment have an
experienced and knowledgeable mechanical & technical team who manage the
7-step reconditioning procedure. The process includes the following steps:
- Step One -
Disassembly: Each bucket truck, Digger Derrick or crane is completely
disassembled. By cutting all the extra boxes make it flatbed. - Step Two � Degrease/Power
wash: Each bucket
Truck, Digger Derrick or crane is completely soaked in degreaser. After
the degreaser has set and loosed the grease and debris the unit is
completely power washed. This step is
important for the next steps. - Step Three � Body
bay: Each bucket
truck, Digger Derrick or Crane is completely sanded down to factory
primer. All dents are pulled. All problem areas the metal will be replaced
with new metal. Before the unit goes into the paint bay, the whole truck
will be premiered and sanded down with 320 grit sandpaper. - Step Four � Paint
bay: In this
bay, two steps are performed. Step One: Each Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick
or Crane will be prepped in the paint bay. All steel boxes and chassis
will be sprayed with Colar epoxy primer to give the boxes and chassis more
protection. The topcoat will be sprayed with 2.8 industrial emron paint.
The paint will be heat treated to 100 degrees. Step Two: Bed Liners. Each
Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick or Crane will have Linex sprayed on the bed
and walkways. This product will be sprayed a 100 mills thick to give your
bed a great coat of protection. This product is sprayed with a 120 gallon
Linex machine. With this machine I 80 Equipment will back each bed liner
with a warranty. - Step Five �
Assembly bay: Each bucket truck, Digger Derrick or Crane
will be reassembled in this bay. All broken parts will be replacing with
new. The trucks will be sprayed all over and dirt will be taken off the
windows and thus cleaned. The inside of the cab will be cleaned for
presentation. The cab and boxes will be doffed out and waxed with hand
glaze. - Step Six �
Mechanics bay: All Mechanics will be checked with a 77 point inspection PM
Checklist as follows: Engine, Power Tran, Steering suspension, Brakes,
Electrical system, Cab and body, Tires wheels and rims. Each category will
meet or exceed federal inspections. After mechanic signs off, the unit
will go to an outside source to get federally inspected and certified. - Step 7 � Finished Product
